Description
The painting is done in acrylics on 12x16" canvas. It was made to order to match a specific interior, so all the colors and patterns are done according to the customers wishes. I was going for a very warm vintage look with soft detailing. The original background was done in a blur-lighting look (like barbara-art.deviantart.com/art…) but was painted over in more vibrant color to match the frame my customer chose. The curtain was also done later to soften and lighten the picture (the frame was dark brown wood with a darker damask pattern).
